Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre
The Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre is situated at North Petherwin which is 5 mikles northwest of Launceston off the B3254 road to Bude.
British & Asian Shorted Clawed Otters are living here, playing and being fed close at hand.
There are Fallow Deer roaming around the 21 acre grounds.
Birds of prey are also on display with talks twice daily and a variety of waterfowl on the two lakes.
There is a woodland walk leading to the Old Quarry where you will see Scottish Wildcats. Walk further on tot he Quarry Pool.
There are also Parrots Peacocks Owls Kestrel Harris Hawks and Buzzards, Fallow Deer Muntyjac Wallabies Pole Cats and Chipmunks.
